While learning about sound energy, Mrs. Gabel's students created cup-and-string telephones. They discovered that when you speak, vibrations travel through the string and carry the sound to the other cup!

Fifth graders made the planets--including Pluto (the speck they are pointing to)--TO SCALE with Play-Doh. We couldn't make the Sun because it would take 1.3 million Earths!🌎🪐🌞
Our school's God, flag, and country competition will take place on Thursday, February 19th at 8:30am. Students age 10-15 can participate. See your ELA teacher or Mrs. Gross for information packets. Let's continue NK's successful participation in this amazing program!
On Sunday, January 18th, Jude Holland played in the OMEA District 3 Honors Concert Band performance at Van Wert High School. This ensemble is prestigious and requires an audition to be accepted. Jude participated in 2 rehearsals under the direction of OMEA President, Brian Stevens prior to the concert. This is an incredibly high honor and the New Knoxville Music Program is tremendously proud of him! Go Rangers!🎶🎷

This program was offered to all students in grade 4-6. These three were awarded a sports cooling towel and fitness watch! Proud of all the hard work they put in!
